Indy just smelling the plants, as a responsible owner I know what plants are safe for my rabbits to eat, be aware of the plants in your garden. For this photo three of us kept an eye on him to make sure he was safe and did not nibble something he shouldn't! He could also smell Raven as she had been there not long before, so sent marking came into play.
What to feed?
As with any information on feeding you need to decide what is the beneficial way for your pet. I dislike the muesli mix and think it is very cheap and nasty, your rabbit will only choose the tastiest bits to eat. Think of a child, if you let it, the child will choose to eat fast food instead of nutritional food, the same with rabbits. Be responsible for your rabbits diet, choose nuggets with high fibre to prevent selective feeding. A good quality hay is a must, this is a rabbits main diet as well as grass. Nuggets should be measured to required amount and treats must be kept to a minimum.
Fruit is a treat as well as carrots, it's like sweets, so feed in moderation.
Any veg should be a handful a day, not a bucketful!

Lifestyle
Well like the diet their lifestyle needs looking after. If your rabbits starts to get fat cut back on nuggets, weigh your rabbits regularly to ensure its weight is correct. Make sure it gets exercise especially if kept in a hutch or cage, encourage play. My indoor rabbits get bored when the weather is not so nice, they start to bite the cage in an attempt to get out. We let them run safely in our hallway and use toys to stimulate their brain. Our rabbits really like the rattles and filled logs to chew.
